FLU Vaccinations 2020/21

Our vaccinations will be arriving after the 18th September and clinics will start the following week. We are not booking appointments until they arrive. Due to keeping everyone safe by social distancing the clinics will be very different this year and it will take us longer to get those aged 65 and above as well as patients in an at risk group vaccinated. Please come at the time specified and dress appropriately so that the clinicians have easy access to your arm.

Please note that, if you are aged between 50 and 64 and not in a clinical at risk group, the earliest you will be offered a flu vaccination is November, providing there is sufficient vaccine. No appointments will be offered for people in this age group until then. This is to ensure that those who are most at risk are vaccinated first. If you are aged 50 to 64 and are in a clinical ‘at risk’ group which is eligible for the flu vaccination, for example you have a health condition which puts you at risk from the flu, you will be invited earlier.

NHS ZERO TOLERANCE ZONE

We aim to treat our patients courteously at all times and expect our patients to treat our staff in a similarly respectful way. We take seriously any harassing, threatening, hostile, abusive or violent behaviour against any of our staff or patients.

If a patient displays any of the behaviour above, the partners may exercise the right to take action and request Primary Care Support England to remove them from our registered patient list. This can happen without a warning if the partners deem there is a risk to the patient or staff and immediately if the police are requested.
