Covid 19 Vaccinations in Burgess Hill

Here is the latest update re vaccinations in Sussex We are asking patients to please wait to be contacted to save our phone lines for patients who need medical appointments. The GP practices in Burgess Hill and surrounding villages are going to be working together to organise the mass vaccination programme for our local area. It is a huge undertaking delivering 50,000+ vaccinations over the next six months.

There is a set order in which NHS England are asking us to invite patients based on a person's risk grouping calculated from the clinical record. We are working our way through our 13,200+ registered patients, please DO NOT contact us about vaccination, we will contact you.

Whooping Cough Vaccination

It has been recently announced that there is to be a national campaign to vaccinate pregnent women between 20 and 38 weeks against Pertussis (Whooping Cough). This is due to a considerable increase in pertussis in the UK. The current outbreak is the largest seen in the UK for over a decade.
